About Sydney

My background with children is vast. I spent two summers watching 3 boys ages 7-12. I made lunch, cleaned, played games, drove then to practice, to the lake, and went on many bike rides. I occasionally watched two boys, one whom was chronically ill, ages 3-5. We painted, played in the snow, I made snack and lunch, we read, and I cleaned occasionally. I have a bachelors of psychology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, many of my classes centered around child psychology and development. I taught swim lesson at the Wasilla pool for 6 months and lifeguarded for a year, these included being CPR and AED certified. Though my certification is expired I will renew upon hire. I have worked in elementary education for the last three years. Two of which were spent tutoring in reading for ages 5-9. This last year I worked as a building substitute for Elementary.
