About Sydney

I have been in the child care industry my entire working career! I have babysat since I was of age. I worked in a child care center within a gym for 5 years. While working there, I was in charge of children ages ranging from 6 weeks old to 12 years old. I am in my 2nd year of teaching. I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Inclusion. I graduated from the University of Akron in May 2022. I spent my teaching career last year as a long-term substitute teacher. My license is for grade levels preK - 3rd grade. I have a lot of experience with a range of children's ages! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic and engaging. In my spare time, I like to workout, go on hikes, and spend time with friends and family. I like working with kids because there is never a dull moment! It is always something different and exciting working with children. These range from helping them meet milestones to simply playing fun games with them. I enjoy all of the things!

100% recommend Sydney! She is the first person I trusted to care for my two littles (4 months and 2.5 years) outside of family, and I could not have picked a better person. She is trustworthy, loving, responsible, timely, and resourceful. She wholeheartedly cared for my kids as if they were her own family. Sydney had no problem implementing our established routine without question, but was able to easily adjust on the fly when needed. Her years of working with children of all ages really shows. My daughter has always been on the shyer side, but quickly warmed up to Sydney because of her fun and loving personality. My son has a few food allergies, and she was very comfortable managing this as well.
