About Sydney

Hello Hello! Right before going to college I went to China for 6 months to teach English to first graders. I spent 4 hours a day, 5 days a week with them working on English. I often had to come up with activities to do with the students, including cooking, gym & PE, drama, and arts & crafts. After my first year of college I worked at a summer camp for 2 months as the supervisor of 20 6-year-olds. I spent 7 hours a day with them, 5 days a week. I walked them through how to set up different activities through out the day and was in charge of planning lessons and other activities for them for an hour and a half each day. My latest experience working with kids was my first real nanny job. For 5 months I was responsible for a 2-year-old, 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. I spent my time waking him up, having breakfast and lunch with him, going on walks to the park, reading books, playing lots of made up games, and just being best friends!
