About Sydney

Hi there! I'm Sydney, an empathetic, adaptable, and creative caregiver with over eight years of experience caring for children of all ages. I graduated from UMBC in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and am currently pursuing a master's in clinical mental health counseling, focusing on children and adolescents (however, my program is online/flexible) I'm calm-natured, reliable, responsive, and patient. My goal is to create a safe space with healthy boundaries that foster creativity and learning. I tailor my care to each child's needs, personality, and interests, incorporating developmentally appropriate, safe, and fun activities. I am also quick to adapt to plan changes, moods, and environmental changes! I have extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers, including sleep training, bottle preparation (formula/breast milk), and making homemade baby food. I've also worked as a mother's helper and can assist with light cleaning, organization, laundry, meal prep.
