About Suzanne

My goal is to empower kids to be curious and respectful giving them as much independence as possible. Throughout high school and college I provided childcare for several families. I worked at The University of Michigan Medical Center as an EEG technician primarily as part of the pediatric epilepsy team for 6 years. I have been a homeschool parent K-12. I was active planning science experiments, art projects, history lessons, field trips, and reading. I have a genuine love of learning and delight in being witness to that spark in kids! I have done everything from making homemade play dough to shark dissection! Supporting children's friendships is also important to me. This has included such activities as library storytime and taking a cohort of 12-year-olds on a camping/whitewater rafting adventure in Colorado. In my free time I enjoy reading, walking my small dog, being a youth group leader and hanging out with my hubby. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
