I have provided care to individuals from birth to geriatrics. I work well with any population in which I find myself. Though, I'd have to say that working with seniors or persons with developmental disabilities is most rewarding to me. I've provided private duty for individuals in their homes as well as direct support within a facility. I've also ran my own home child care years ago. I assist with the understanding that the individuals in which I serve are unable to do so. Knowing that, I do my very best to provide the best possible care with as much respect and empathy as possible. I am experienced in providing total care. That would include anything from head to toe. ADL's, transfers, mechanical and adaptive equipment, meal prep, etc. My experience includes working with persons with an array of developmental & intellectual disabilities, dementia, traumatic brain injury, quad/paraplegia, both young and aged. I enjoy doing what I do, it allows me to make a difference in someone's life.

Suzanne is AMAZING! I recently got married, and was looking for care to help with my Mother with Alzheimer's dementia, as my parents would traveling from their home to VA for the wedding. Suzanne was able to come to both my rehersal and wedding day to help with my mom, and my whole family will forever be thankful for her. My mom usually experienced increased irritability and confusion in new places, and Suzanne approached her care with patience and kindness, and allowed my dad (her primary caregiver) to relax and enjoy himself knowing my Mom was in safe and capable hands. Suzanne was flexible with the chaotic schedule of a wedding and was so wonderful with my Mom. My Mom is very nervous around new people and loved hanging out with her "nice new friend" as she put it! Suzanne is phenomenal, professional, patient and kind. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of my family, and we cannot thank her enough!
