Hello! Thank you for considering me to care for your loved one. I'm very passionate about connecting with people, and my experiences include working at a camp for children and co-workers who were either deaf and/or blind, and/or orthopedically impaired, a Special Olympics softball coach for adults, teaching adult daily living skills to clients with depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and/or addictions (I was also a case manager many years). Through a joint community venture, I created a program that serves clients who have both a developmental disability and a mental illness diagnosis. Completed a very educational internship at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Served as a counselor at a camp for kids and teens who had diabetes. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University.
