Since 2009, I have been assisting all kinds of people with traumatic brain injuries & disabilities to live as independent a life as possible. I have worked through agencies in several hospitals as a CNA & LPN, but. I am the best with caring for people with declining physical and cognitive conditions, by assisting them with their essential needs, like grocery shopping, meal planning and cooking, to just assisting them in their activities of daily living, like transferring, toileting, bathing, dressing, etc, and especially companionship. Senior care became my specialty. Nobody or situation frightens me, getting my hands dirty, or to just sit, listen, & hold the hand of someone who is afraid of their quickly declining condition. I'm someone who will assist them in any way needed, as long as needed.. Note* My availability is flexible, and I'm looking forward to helping your loved one navigate the challenges that lie ahead. We employed Susan for 3 years caring for our 88 year old mother. Susan was a great asset to our team and bonded with our mother quickly. This woman knows her stuff, she is highly knowledgeable and competent in all caregiving aspects. From the basics to the hard stuff Susan was our rock. She was able to help us get our mothers care organized, train new support caregivers and pinpoint areas we needed to support my mother as her needs changed. Susan is honest, on time, completely dependable and most of all she will be that caregiver that sees your loved one and family through moments that are hard to wrap your head around. I felt at ease when she was with my mother. Thank you Susan for giving my mom the best care possible and sharing so many laughs and good times with her and also for calming her during the scary times, for walking her through those moments.
