About Susan

I am available to help with transportation, an extra set of ears at doctors' appointments (providing written notes for family members if needed), help with errands and light meal prep. I have become adept at managing my dad's 20+ daily meds: discussing hospital changes with the pharmacist and PCP, filling 4 weekly pill boxes. I have been in the professional workforce for 25+ years. In the past 3 months my 85-year-old father has been in and out of the hospital 3 times and rehab twice. My mother drives short distances and helps care for him but she needs assistance with driving to her own doctors appointments and working through his needs. These changes have brought the challenges facing many seniors to the forefront. Because of the time spent with them I'm no longer working full time and I'm interested in helping other seniors who need an extra hand.
