About Susan

As a young dental hygienist I left the United States to work in Switzerland, which started an important life adventure. After I married a Swiss man, his job took us to Spain, Mexico and Portugal. We had three children and they were raised internationally. I found out how challenging it is to be a foreigner, with small children. They are now adults and two of them live in Austin, which is why we recently moved to Texas. Both professionally and personally have I had experience with geriatrics and pediatrics. I understand the demands of caring for children and aging parents, especially those with special needs or dementia. I also understand how important is the stability of home life and nutrition. I work part time as a hygienist, but I am keen to use my knowledge and experience to help others, which is why I am available via Care. com.
