About Susan

I relocated back into the Southwest Florida area from the Midwest after caring for my elderly Mother with Alzheimer's for five (5) years until she passed, as well as providing comfort/companion care to clients in their home during all seasons of their life, including palliative/hospice care. A former RN that worked in both acute and home care settings. I am looking for caregiver positions that would allow me the ability to utilize my strength and knowledge to care for those clients in need of generalized or more specific companion care, give respite and/or walk with those during their end of life journeys. I find it a privilege to care for the elderly and my trajectory changed after walking alongside my own Mother. I have completed multiple cases so far, full-time and live-in cases. All have been meaningful and impactful, expanding the care background I already have as a foundation at this point in my career. I'd describe my personality as patient, giving and kind.
