About Susan

I have a BA in Elementary Education and am a current licensed teacher. I stayed home with my two children for 15 years. My son has dyslexia and I have been his main tutor over the years. I am certified in Orton Gillingham which is a wonderful multi sensory approach to reading. For the past three years I have been an instructional assistant in kindergarten classrooms. I am the kindergarten RTI teacher. I pull several small groups of students throughout the day who are struggling with reading and math. I have a passion for finding new different ways for struggling students to understand concepts. We are all unique and learn in our own way!
