I have been a teacher with Gwinnett County Public Schools for 10 years, serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Prior to that, I worked as a group home manager for an agency providing residential and supported employment services to adults with a variety of Developmental Disabilities. Both jobs have been extremely rewarding; what I love most is working one-on-one with students/clients. My particular passion is communication development and Assisted/Augmentative Communication. I enjoy adventure of all kinds, and hope to provide an environment that encourages stretching beyond assumed limitations. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Georgia State University and a BA in Psychology from Oberlin College
