About SUSAN

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, caring and happy. I began working in nursing homes as a CNA in HS. I found I felt completely comfortable in that environment. Next, I became a CMA for St Paul Ramsey Hospital, working in Family Practice & Internal Medicine for 4 years. Lastly, I transitioned into a sales career for 20 years, but was also a primary caregiver for my grandparents for the last 15 years of their lives. I have worked with dementia and Alzheimer's on both sides of my family for a collective 40 years! Currently, my mom has dementia and possible memory care talks have started. I'm looking for a job that includes facets of care ranging from: Mental, physical and Social wellbeing. I have learned so much about life, love, compassion, patience and mostly respect from our seniors that I feel drawn to help. My top 3 senior skills include: 1. Compassion 2. Companionship 3. Physical & Mental support In my spare time I enjoy family, friends, food and golf!
