About Susan

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and respectful. I like tutoring because I recognize that not everyone learns at the same pace or in the same ways. I am passionate about supporting students by providing a learning environment where they have the opportunity to experience success and confidence. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have flexible hours. The fact that it is something I both enjoy and excel at, are indeed a bonus I started tutoring in 2009. In my spare time I like to spend with my family, preferably outdoors boating or camping. I also enjoy college football and traveling. One thing you should know about me is I absolutely love what I do! I am an experienced Paraprofessional with 29 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, in brick and mortar settings as well as virtually. I am blessed to be able to do what I am passionate about! My skills include reading, writing, and math instruction.
