About Susan

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. You will see that I have a passion for working with children. I earned a degree in Special Education and have several years of teaching experience in public schools. While pursuing my degree I worked part time in daycare. I also have experience as a substitute teacher at a private preschool. I am currently a preschool Bible class teacher for my church. I also serve as a mentor for fourth graders at a local elementary school. In addition to public settings, I have experience babysitting for individual families. My husband and I have 2 fantastic kids and 2 adorable dogs. I love developmental play and outdoor activities. I adore children's literature and have my own collection of children's books. I enjoy interacting with kids of all ages and love helping children reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom. I am known for my patience and creativity. I love problem solving and thinking outside the box. I look forward to meeting you!
