I just retired 2 years ago from tutoring at SCAD for 15 years. I raised 2 successful sons, now in their 40s. I enjoy cooking and recently, one of my "grandkids" told me about this website, so I thought I might just give it a try. I love to read aloud, and would be very happy to read to kids at bedtime, or help them with their homework. And because I love to cook I would be very happy to help with dinner. I am also a painter and enjoy many types of crafts, so keeping your kids interested in creative things would be a pleasure. I have been an educator my entire career, and feel confident in my ability to relate to kids and make our time together meaningful and fun as well as safe. I am organized and dependable, and at my age, not easily distracted by my cell phone.

Sue was very accommodating while we were visiting out of town for a wedding and needed someone to watch out 2.5 year old. We got to meet Sue in advance so our kiddo could feel comfortable. Unfortunately she was unable to use stairs so we moved our pack and play to a first floor room. Additionally, Sue watched our kiddo from 2:30pm-9 and didn't change her diaper once because our toddler said no. Sue also allowed our kid to stay up until we got home and didn't put her to bed, despite moving the pack and play down to the first floor. Overall, Sue is lovely but would probably be more comfortable with older children.
