In 1983 I obtained my CNA which allowed me to work at Group Health Hospital and a nursing home for 5 years. Later, after serving in the US Army I used my college fund to obtain my BS in Sociology. I have cared for my parents for the last 6 years, the last two years they lived with my husband and I, they both passed in October. Currently I am enrolled in an on-line Masters Program for Elementary education.
