I love science. Always have, always will. I teach at the college level but I also participate in events for elementary and middle school students designed to get them excited about science. I have a basic microscope and lots of science books. I worked in the QA lab at Sierra Nevada for 20+ years. My manager once told me that my coworkers said to him, "When Susan explains something, I understand". I am very patient and calm. When I explain something, I try to help the student understand the concept so an assignment makes sense.
