I've been doing elder care in clients homes since I was 25. With so many years of experience I have dealt with many types of people learned how to excel in benefitting clients with encouragement, helping doing tasks of daily living they may need food prep, some house keeping, being sure they get to medical appointments, go to grocery, pharmacy. I can assist with baths, showers, dressing. These are the physical needs. What is most important I've found in my 30+ years of Care giving is simply listening to person, listening to not only their needs but who they are, what they have done in their lives, what they feel now.
