About Susan

I am a lifelong Bay Area resident. I have been a nanny for over 20 years. I have outstanding local references. I'm a mother of two, and also a grandmother. I enjoy hiking, walking, and spending time with my family. I believe children should be treated as individuals with their own unique needs. I'm a big fan of positive reinforcement to promote good behavior. If a child is having a hard time, I try to work it out by supporting the way they are feeling, but also try to help them understand why there are rules. if there is a challenging behavior that is recurring, I work with the parents to problem solve. As a nanny, I try to be a supportive person for the entire family and I am willing to adjust to their individual needs.
