About Susan

I adopted my first two kittens in 2004 shortly after my mom died. Over the years, I rescued two more and had my "core 4" for almost a decade. When my third cat passed away, the remaining cat became sad, so I started fostering cats for a local rescue. All of my cats are now gone, but I continue to foster cats (my specialty is seniors, I adore them, but I have also fostered cats with medical and special needs). I've successfully gotten three senior cats adopted and have been a hospice home for two more. I'm currently fostering my youngest cat, Mimi. She is 3 years old and was adopted out as a kitten in June 2022 with one of her siblings, only to be returned (alone) to the rescue in February 2024 due to "allergies".
