I treat people with dignity and respect, and I know I add joy to others' lives with the smiles, laughter, and kindness I share. I had the wonderful pleasure of caring for a young girl with a severe disability for 8 years, that had a profound effect on my life. I learned a great deal from her and went on to become a para-educator with Northshore School District for six years. She’s pleasant and always upbeat. She spends 8 hours a week with my wife who has dementia, so that I can have some respite. My wife likes her and I’m very confident that my wife is safe while I’m away. It’s made my life much more manageable.
