About Surichi

Hello, my name is Surichi! I'm very excited to have the opportunity to make various connections with families through tutoring. Education: I currently hold a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in English Linguistics. To earn my BA, I had to take multiple classes to prepare me to teach different concepts as a Multi-Subject Elementary Teacher. Experience: I've had experience in the classroom as an after school program teacher for grades 1-7th. With that experience, I gained knowledge on developing lesson plans for my classes of 15+ students. Not only creating lesson plans, but I gained experience in interacting with students and their families, and leading the classroom. Strengths: I am confident in tutoring students from grades 1-4th, but can be flexible with other grades. For subjects, I am able to teach Math and English. My approach is patient, personalized, and focused on creating a supportive learning environment!
