Surbrina called me approximately 30 minutes before she was to arrive at my house. As expected, she pulled into the driveway and quickly turned around and left my property. The next thing I got was a condescending text message stating that she did not feel comfortable working in this area as if my home or the property I live on is in the middle of the hood somewhere. Prior to her agreeing to take this job I informed her that our house was under construction and that it was a farm house. Evidently when she pulled in she must've felt that it was not up to her standards. As she drove away, she texted me telling me that she didn't feel comfortable in this area. When I tried to call her she refused to answer my phone call. The next thing I received was a text message stating that she did not have cell phone service and that is why she felt uncomfortable. Interestingly enough she was able to receive my text and make a phone call even though she didn't have service? My home is literally a quarter of a mile from the nearest cell phone tower and cell phone service is not something we have ever been lacking. There are also approximately 25 homes around my home so it's not like it's in the middle of nowhere where someone might feel unsafe. I am appalled and deeply offended by the way this was handled. No one should have to feel as if their home is unacceptable to someone else for any reason.
