Hello, I'm Summer! Along with being a mom, I have 4 years of professional experience in child care and adventure learning, and around 9 more babysitting, including being the oldest of four siblings. My goal with children is to create an environment where growing and learning are apart of daily activities. I like to use techniques I learned from Montessori and my training in outdoor exploration. I love these resources when it comes to taking care of children because no matter the age they are so applicable. my experience ranges from ages 0-12. From nannying, to guiding outdoor adventures, to raising my own little one. I would love to be able to use that experience for your children! I would need to bring my little one with, she is 3 1/2 years old and has been coming with me to help take care of other kids since she was 4 months old. I have raised her to be kind and considerate. She is super social and constantly looks forward to hanging out with other kids.

I CANNOT say enough amazing things about Summer. We were blessed to have her care for our toddler son. She was communicative, punctual, down-to-earth, compassionate, energetic, very hands-on, etc. She spent a ton of her time outside with our son, doing crafts and projects, taking him to parks, and being ever so present. I could not have asked for a better caretaker for my son. She takes a wonderful gentle parenting type approach when with a child that is appropriately assertive and empowers the child to make independent choices while also helping them to understand if something is unkind or hurtful. Summer's attentiveness and level of patience is extraordinary. We also are fairly particular about what our child eats and Summer was always respectful of this and followed through on what was requested. If you're lucky enough to have Summer care for your child(ren) I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I would have kept her for a lifetime if it wasn't for a move out of state.
