About Summer

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. Naturally patient, creative, and friendly, I've been a childcare provider for four years and am currently in graduate school to become a pediatric speech-language pathologist. I'm confident I can make a difference in the lives of the children I care for. I believe open and honest communication with parents is essential, so I follow their preferred method and provide verbal updates at pickup. I take my cues from the parents regarding household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from educational games that promote learning to outdoor sports. I can comfortably care for up to three children, ranging from infants to preteens. I have my own car, am comfortable with pets, and have CPR and First Aid certifications.
