I was a competitive swimmer for almost 15 years until I suffered a career-ending ankle injury that required me to have two surgeries for five years to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I had to quit swimming as a sport but still love to give swim lessons. I do not have an official certification, but I do have references that can vouch for my abilities and my lessons. I am CPR and first aid certified for the age groups of infant-adult.
