My name is Summer and I am the mother of a sweet infant boy and have worked as a private nanny and tutor for the last year in order to be more present with my family. I tutor and nanny for a few families in the area, and have cared for an elderly woman (companionship and daily help/errands) in the past. Until recently, I worked as a reading interventionist and social studies teacher in private schools. I hold a masters degree from a top U. S. university (Villanova) and a bachelors degree from Loyola New Orleans. I was the 2023 Smart/Maher Teacher of the Year in Elementary Education for the state of South Carolina. I love animals, the outdoors, cooking, history, and my Christian faith. When I am not working or with my family, I most enjoy serving those in need-children, the elderly, etc.
