I have worked as a Professional Caregiver for two year with Visiting Angels of Tacoma and unprofessionally, for 10 years, family and friends, plus caring for their animals as well. I specialize in Alzheimer's Dementia and Hospice care. Before I became a Caregiver I was a retired Chef and Pastry Chef in everything from Corporate Banquets and Catering to Personal Chef for 30 years. I have 65 CEU's (continuing education units): Types of care and training: Palliative, Diabetes, Parkinson's, End-of-Life, Respite, Hospice, Comfort care, COPD, Congestive Heart Failure training, Stroke & Heart Attack, Post surgery, Bathing Assist, Peri-care, CPR-AED, Hoyer-Lift, Wheelchairs, Walkers and other mobility devises. Other types of assistance: Light-housekeeping, Preparing nutritionally balanced meals, Pet care, Transportation to appointments or assist with grocery shopping.
