Hello, My name is Steve. My wife and I live in Bellingham. I've taught all levels of math up to Honors Geometry, 9th Grade Physical Science (IPS), 10th grade Biology, 7th grade Life Science, 6-9th grades English, and Creative Writing for all ages. I've also coached Varsity Boy's Soccer two different upper schools, as well as track and tennis for boys and girls. I'm known for adapting quickly to the learning style and level of each student. My expertise is in getting students to talk through a problem to identify where the gaps are in their knowledge and then offering simpler examples to see if they can make the connection themselves. It's about connecting previous experiences to new problems, listening to their thought processes and providing the right tip at the right time. I'm enthusiastic and connect easily with students.
