About Stepheney

I have been working with children for nearly 20 years, starting in high school as an after school tutor. I spent 12 years working in Environmental Education with several zoos and nature centers across the country. After retiring from the Environmental Education field I moved into formal education and currently work as a paraprofessional in a local elementary school. I've always loved working with children of all ages although I have the biggest affinity for infancy through the preschool years. Social-emotional skills are a focus area for me and I love helping kiddos learn to process all of their big feelings and learn how to be a good person in our world. I generally follow conscious discipline practices and love and logic practices. I can't wait to meet your family and get to know your wonderful kiddos!
