About Stephanie

I have been taking care of animals since I was little. Grew up with an Alaskan malamute and 4 cats. I have watched cats and dogs together and separately. The cats include indoor and outdoor cats and 6-week-old kittens. I have had to give medicine to kittens and am comfortable giving medicine to all animals. The dogs have mostly been large breeds: pit bull, shar pei greyhound mix, hound greyhound mix, and pit bull mastiff mix. The smaller breeds include a beagle pit bull mix, Labrador basset hound mix, and a Chinese foo dog. I try to take the dogs on long walks or many short walks throughout the day. I also like to play with the animals, as much as possible. Have been fostering dogs through BAHS since June 2019, have had 2 puppies for 5 weeks, an adult dog after surgery for 2 weeks, and currently an adult dog waiting for his forever family.
