I've worked with special needs children and their families in my line of work as Preschool Director & Teacher for 15 years. Specifically; children with sensory disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, diabetic, Down's Syndrome, emotional/behavioral issues. I've collaborated with ABA clinician's in the classroom, as well as consultants through county/state funded programs. Most recently I nanny'd for a family with a high functioning 5 yr old with ASD. I picked up some of the behavior modification techniques that will help me in my line of work. I've learned alot, the children in my care have taught me so much!
