About Stephanie

Hello my name is Stephanie. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics, a minor in Secondary Education, and a decade of experience as a classroom teacher. I have taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I am also currently certified for 8-12th grade Mathematics in Texas. I have worked with students of all skill levels which include but are not limited to dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, autism, deaf, blind, English learners from throughout the world, mental health issues, and gifted children. This year I have decided to leave the school district and tutor full time. I've been tutoring peers since I was a sophomore in high school and prefer the intimacy of a one-on-one or small group sessions over large classroom settings. As female minority in STEM I hold a positive influence of inspiration to children who may not see adults that look like them in this industry.
