I specialize in helping students who are struggling to fit a traditional school mold. Whether this is due to of inadequate school support, a student not being challenged, or disinterest in learning, I believe meeting students where they are at, and guiding them toward their potential is most effective. Everyone has natural strengths and abilities, they just have to be put to use. The majority of my experience has been working with families who are exploring nontraditional schooling methods. This has included home based learning, charter schools, gifted and talented programs, special education, behavioral issues, and everything in between. I am working on an educational psychology degree. In the past, many students have had Autism, ADD / ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, or other disabilities. I strive to work from a whole child approach to foster a lifelong love of learning in all students.
