Hi! I have babysat since I was 10 years old. I was a daycare teacher for 1 year at a Baptist Church Daycare where I encountered a child with autism. I took classes at Chattanooga State majoring in Early Childhood Education. I am also certified in CPR/AED and first aid and potty training is also not a problem. I helped to raise my little brother, and twin niece and nephew. I adore children, and generally find the feeling is mutual. I believe children should get as much sunshine and exercise as possible, and be motivated to learn about the world around them. I am also a major Vols, Dodgers & Lookouts fan, and my mom likes to joke that I'm the "Kid Whisperer" and a poop and booger expert. (Which you completely understand I'm sure!) I also have 2 dogs, and 2 cats, and occasionally take in rescue animals, fatten them up, love them and help them find their forever home; That's me in a nutshell.

Stephanie worked for my family as a nanny from August 2010 through August 2011. She cared for my 2-3 year old and my 4-5 year old, three to four days a week. The days were long (7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on avg) but she kept my children very entertained and busy with reading, art projects, and play. She drove them to parks, the aquarium, the discovery museum, and to & from preschool. She prepared their meals, fed them, bathed them, got them dressed. She played a huge part in potty-training my daughter. I always felt connected to my children when she was with them, because she texted me updates and sent me photos of them all day long. She was so caring and loving, and very flexible. My family was sad when she left our employ, but understood because she needed more time to devote to school. We miss her; she is family to us now.
