About Stephanie

Hello, my name is Stephanie! I'd describe my personality as patient, nurturing, and caring. I like working with kids. I find it a very rewarding experience, seeing the world through their eyes. I tutoring kids in high school. In college, I worked at a daycare taking care of toddlers ages 2-5. In my spare time, I like to sing, make music, read, bake, and crochet! I have been exploring cooking recently. My skills include problem-solving, patience, and communication. Having worked in a daycare, I have dealt with a lot of tantrums. I have learned to manage challenges like these calmly and effectively, helping the child through a difficult moment with patience and understanding. I recently graduated from UIUC with a BS degree in Developmental Psychology and East Asian Languages and Cultures. I look forward to working with your family!
