Hello moms and dads! My name is Stephanie and I was born and raised in San Diego! I graduated from Christian High, moved on to the College of Nursing at California Baptist University, and now have Bachelors degree in Science and Nursing and am an RN. I started my nursing career in San Diego but shortly after became licensed in Texas, as my husband's job sent him to the Houston area. There I nannied and worked for a local hospital. Since then I have become a mom of two and decided to put my nursing career on pause to focus on raising my babies. Life is funny and we are now back in San Diego for the next year so I am hoping to find a family that could use my help and expertise. Fun facts about me are that I'm a proponent of making healthy meals, I limit screen time, I prefer spending time outdoors, and I enjoy the opportunity to encourage creativity, a desire for learning, and puzzles! What can I say about Stephanie other than WOW! I took a weekend job that required weekday classes for orientation so I needed someone with my 16 month old here and there for about a month. I will admit, I was VERY nervous seeking a caregiver because I had never left my little one with anyone other than my husband. Stephanie immediately put me at ease with her kind and nurturing spirit. I knew my son wouldn't just be 'watched' but would be CARED for while I was gone. She kept me updated throughout the day of their adventures and even sent me cute pictures of my little man. She took him to the park, the library and the playground. When the inevitable toddler bumps and bruises happened--like a skinned knee, Stephanie was quick to inform me and apply perfect and gentle first aid. She would be an ASSET to anyone looking for exceptional childcare. The only reason I double-thought about posting this is.....I want to keep her for myself!!!!! Yes, she's that amazing!!
