I have worked with Autism Society of Maine since 2017 in the summers working with the daycare group. I have also worked one on one with an autistic boy in his home. I have cousins who are autistic, so I am comfortable and familiar with everything that comes along with it. Behavioral issues are not an issue for me. I also have a step brother with Down Syndrome so I am familiar in that area as well. I have worked with foster children with behavioral issues as well. I am a kind and caring person who loves working with kids of all abilities. I have going on 3+ years of paid experience but honestly have over 20 years of experience just growing up with my autistic cousins and my step sibling.
