Hello! My name is Stephanie and I would love to help out your family! Previously I nannied for a family in Uptown for three and a half years, but they moved at the end of last year and I have been working temporary nanny jobs since then. I have over 15 years of childcare behind me. I babysat on my own for several years growing up, and for the past 10 years have been working for an agency in the city. I have experience in all ages, but infants and newborns are my favorite. I am a huge fan of gentle/authoritative parenting and believe a happy child comes from communication and treating your little one as human while still setting boundaries and guiding them in the right direction. My biggest goal is to keep your kid(s) happy, healthy, and having fun. We hired Stephanie to watch our two little ones when I went back to work. It was crazy trying to manage two parents working from home during a pandemic and we couldn't have done it without Stephanie's help! When she started our kids were 2 years old and 4 months old. She helped with childcare responsibilities of course as well as planning crafts and activities for both of them. Once parks opened up again she would take them out for walks and to the playground. Stephanie helped us as we started potty training our oldest and introduced solids to our youngest. She was also patient with our newborn as he was not happy to be drinking from a bottle at first! Our kids had so much fun with her and our oldest talks about all of the fun the fun things she did with them. We would recommend Stephanie to any family looking for a fun-loving and caring nanny!
