Registered nurse. Now retired. worked at Seattle Children's 30 years. Miss being around children. Happy to work with kids of all ages, Most interested in caring for infants, school age kids, toddlers ok too. I'd describe my personality as gentle, warm, fun, but firm with family's rules. I like working with kids because they see the world with curiosity and wonder. It sounds great when they laugh. I'm looking for a job that allows me to develop a relationship with a few children over time and feel safe when their parent is gone. Can commit to 1-2 days or part days per week. I started working with kids when my first child was born, 35 years ago. In my spare time, I like to swim, exercise, gardening, hike/walk, cook. One thing you should know about me is I can't wait until I have grandkids!! My skills include Communicating with kids at their own level. Making sure they are clean, well fed and physically active as age appropriate. Helping them explore their curiosity.
