I recently moved to the DC area and am looking for occasional baby sitting opportunities. I studied child development (undergrad) and spent my 15+ year career in nonprofits, several of which had me providing care for and leading activities with young children. I am dependable, responsible, and have always loved helping out family and friends with caring for their littles. My niece (3 y/o) & nephew (7 y/o) describe me as "fun" and "silly." :) Special kid skills: arts and crafts, animated bedtime story reader, pretend play enthusiast, dance party machine, Magna Tiles architect, making household tasks into a fun game, and redirection/positive behavior reinforcement. I am a non-smoker, pediatric first aid and CPR certified, and fully vaccinated + boosted. I have a vehicle and can help with some light housework and cooking/meal preparation upon request. Stephanie was absolutely fantastic - she helped watch our 1 year old during my sisters wedding. She was everything and more we could have hoped for as a first experience on this website. Too many great things to say but wish we could hire her full time back home.
