Hi! My name is Stephanie. I am a licensed Elementary teacher and currently teach in a public school in the suburbs of Chicago. I have professionally tutored for about 10 years. I have tutored students in all areas with a range of abilities. For the past 2 years I have tutored through a program called SMART math, where I run a night class/tutoring session for 4th-5th grade students 2 times a week. I also tutor on the side independently. I have been an elementary teacher for 7 years. I earned my B. A in Elementary Education from DePaul University with a concentration in ESL and child psychology.

I hired Stephanie to help tutor my son in reading, and she was fantastic. She was kind, welcoming, and patient, and her welcoming environment made my son actually start to enjoy reading (he despised it before Stephanie started tutoring him). I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough! We hope to work with Stephanie again in the near future.
