About Stephanie

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and creative. I like tutoring because I love helping others reach their potential, and I enjoy working with children. I am also a lifelong learner myself, as evident in my advanced degrees. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help others reach their potential. I delight in seeing the growth my students make. I started tutoring when I was a National Honor Society student in high school. I also tutored as an undergraduate and graduate student in college, as well as into my teaching career. In my spare time, I like to do arts & crafts, write, volunteer, explore new places, and spend time with my husband and cats. One thing you should know about me is that I have taught in a variety of roles in the K-12 public school system, as well as at the community college level, and I am currently a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant. My skills include: I am innovative / creative, caring, and supportive.
