My name is Stephanie and I am a full time high school science teacher who is looking for supplemental income doing something I enjoy! When I'm not teaching I enjoy hanging out with my two Labrador Retrievers, camping, and hiking and reading novels. My experience working with and caring for children started as I was finishing high school and attending community college. I worked at a local daycare for 5 years; my last year there I was given the opportunity to be the lead teacher for a pre-k class! I left the daycare in order to finish college in Chicago but stayed in touch with many of the families there. I have been a nanny for 3 of those families and have baby-sat for countless of other families. I have worked as an Environmental Educator teaching 4th and 5th graders at the local Camp and have been a project leader for young adult conservation groups in many states. I am comfortable with all ages!

I was privileged enough to work with Stephanie for a year. No matter what child she worked with, her ability to inspire them always amazed me. She was able to connect with the students she worked with by creating interactive and exciting lesson plans most usually find dull. Stephanie goes above and beyond the expectations of her employers. I've seen the way her kids adore her whether from her easy-going persona or her interesting and hands-on activities incorporated into her lessons. She is a wonderful asset to any family or company.
