I am a mother of 4 with experience in all ages newborn to senior citizen. I have a background in social work and worked for 6 years as a case manager for adults with developmental disabilities and currently have spent the last 15 years working in healthcare (skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, and Home Health) I grew up with a sibling with Cerebral Palsy and have experience having a child with spina bifida and cognitive delay. I have training and experience in areas of autism. I have been trained with lifts and transfers and am familiar with assisting devices (wheelchairs, walkers, AFOs, hover lifts, sit-to-stand devices) as well as communication boards. I am able to assist with transportation, school work, as well as activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, household tasks).
