I started pet sitting at 15 for my friends family (they had 2 dogs and 2 cats). From there my experience merged into my nanny experience. Every family I worked for had at least one dog and sometimes cats. The family I was with for 5yrs until I moved had a very clingy/needy golden doodle so juggling the needs of a infant/toddler and puppy became second nature. The parents worked from home so I would need to make sure their pup got loads of attention too so he wouldn't be barking up a storm and disturb their online meetings. I have experience with pits, huskies, labs, golden mixes, and catahoula's, but adore all. My cat experience has ranged from cuddle muffins who want to sit on your chest to one cat I weekend sat for and would need to walk around with snow boots on because if I spoke she would run up and attack my legs. Honestly I'd do it again I love cats so much and knew she was just scared because her people were gone and she was raised during the lockdown only ever seeing them.
