About Stephanie

A little about me. I grew up in Upstate New York. As a teen I babysat often and worked summers at a camp teaching kids how to ride horses and play in the woods. As I got older I worked in restaurant settings but always maintained a caregiver role. I worked two years as an activity aid in a nursing home while also babysitting for my brother's two daughters five days a week. I currently manage a small coffee shop in Brooklyn. My goal would be to leave the service industry and work with and families while I study to become a birth and postpartum doula. I'm heavily involved in my church. I lead our children's ministry and our hospitality teams. I work with kiddos as little as 5 months to the 'big kids' that are about 11. I manage and schedule our volunteer team and create fun curriculum for the kids. I find it so important to be a good example for the little humans in our life, being kind, polite and having fun.
