About Stephanie

Former LAUSD teacher in the South Bay! Certified in First Aid, AEP, and CPR. Licensed and insured driver. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, Beijing, and Shanghai. I speak native English and conversational Mandarin Chinese. I held a University Intern credential and provisional permit to teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts in LAUSD while I was an AmeriCorps member of Teach For America Los Angeles. I joined after graduating from USC in 2023 and completed my service in June 2025. Before that, I was a substitute teacher aide across several different elementary schools in the LA area, and a volunteer high school health educator for 4 years throughout undergrad. I also grew up with an adorable miniature poodle, and have lived with and cared for dogs and cats in my adult life. I'm happy to answer any other questions that you have.
