About Stephanie

LAUSD teacher on summer break! I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, Beijing, and Shanghai. I speak native English and conversational Mandarin Chinese. I currently hold a University Intern credential to teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts in LAUSD. After graduating from USC in 2023, I joined Teach For America to serve low-income students in South Central Los Angeles. Before that, I was a substitute teacher aide across several different elementary schools in the LA area, and a volunteer high school health educator for 4 years throughout undergrad. I also grew up with an adorable miniature poodle, and have lived with and cared for dogs and cats in my adult life. I do not drive but I'm familiar and comfortable with public transit, and I live in a quiet house with high speed WiFi. I'm happy to answer any other questions that you have.
